CurrentIn my current role, I am overseeing 20 accounts and 100+ chemicals covering imports, exports, and domestic sales of raw chemicals in multiple markets. Specifically, I am tasked with forecasting and distributing materials worth hundreds of thousands to a million, as well as coordinating repacks and transloads of materials requiring specific packaging. Furthermore, I handle quality issues regarding chemicals and accounting duties, such as accounts payable/receivable, debit/credit memos, inventory matching, and period and month closing postings.Some of my most notable contributions in this role include:✔Implementing a new pricing structure for materials during price fluctuations and sourcing over 30 new materials.✔Enhancing team productivity by training and guiding four recruits on company standards.✔Establishing efficient processes for importing, storing, and distributing dryer sheets from Turkey, as well as implementing commission-based sales for melamine.✔Introducing an internal transload process, coordinating the movement of goods from warehouse to transload facility and final delivery to the customer.✔Proposing a cost-effective method to import and repalletize SVS, resulting in monthly savings of $4,135 for the customer.✔Designing a repack process for various resin materials, verifying that the repack facility had the appropriate packaging size and weight.✔Orchestrating a streamlined process for sourcing materials required to blend and create stannous chloride along with delivery to the customer.
