Trillium Studio is located in the heart of historic uptown Saint John, NB (#saint awesome) The studio (Formerly known as Shell Lane Studio in Prince Edward Island) was opened in 2006 by veteran recording engineer/producer Paul Milner. The studio was relocated to Saint John in December 2017. Our goal was to create a relaxed and creative atmosphere in the heart of a beautiful and inspiring City Centre.The main studio area features natural stone and brick with a stone drum / live room, 2 vocal / isolation booths, a lounge area that also doubles as a recording space and a control room with natural light and 10 foot ceilings. All rooms are acoustically isolated with tie lines linking them together. The second floor has 13 foot ceilings and hardwood floors throughout offering a wide variety of recording spaces with various combinations of reflective and non-reflective surfaces.

In 1992, Canada formally recognized Paul's engineering talents with a Juno nomination for Keven Jordan's No Sign of Rain (Columbia) and this meant that all his hard work had paid off... finally... but not without the devotion every hit bound recording engineer / producer must have to make the "A" list. And the "A" list is where Paul, comfortably finds himself. Paul has had involvment in projects combined selling more than 25million copies.Andre Perry knew and hired Paul to work in Morin Heights, Canada, at the renowned Le Studio where he could fine-tune his abilities and work alongside the best in the business.Since leaving Le Studio, Paul has traveled across the cosmos to work in the worlds premier studios.....Hit Factory. .Compass Point O'HENRY. Vancouver Sound . The Clubhouse. Advision Caribbean Sound Basin. A large part of 1996-98 was spent between Barbados and Canada Producing recording and mixing for Eddy Grant's Ice Records label at Blue Wave Studios, working on several projects recording everything from classical opera to calypso.Paul's favorite toy at the moment is the Neve Capricorn, having just completed mixing several albums on the console. Then and now, Paul prides his work and success on his sharp ability to recognize "I wanna hear it again" artists and sounds. The method is simple... solid business experience. .. strong engineering.. artist repertoire. Bios and artist photos spread across his living room floor for scrutiny and his close inspection. Helping artists reach their maximum success.... dropping them into the studio... guiding them toward the creation of a commercially viable product... while striving to allow artists to maintain their creative integrity and originality.The bios... pic's and DAT's still make up his repertoire carpet...Gold & platinum.... now hang in his living room.
