This was a fast paced, client-facing role; focused solely on identifying and closing business within the North East of England. I am the first point of contact between restaurateurs and OpenTable (OT) – building the credibility and trust in the OT brand; responsible for bringing new business on board through a consultative sales approach. I am completely in tune with my market – the good, as well as the challenges - and therefore able to be proactive in engaging in Marketing and Product strategies within the company to help grow the business. I am driven by the mutual success on a daily basis. The software I sell, and therefore my daily focus, is dedicated to maximizing restaurants’ revenue potential. I am passionate about sales and enjoy feeling good about the product I sell. On a day to day basis, I see myself as a business leader: identifying new prospects, managing my territory, running business meetings and closing deals based on client’s varying needs. I work very closely with my local Account Manager to manage success of my entire market.
