Collect, identify, and assess local and national funding opportunities. Administer and monitor private grants / investments performance as appropriate from donor family. Managed over $1M in giving from family to support MDF efforts and ensure progress towards goals and return on investment. • Prospect identification, cultivation, proposal development, solicitation and stewardship for Care fundraising priorities for MDF and private Agape Initiative efforts. Raised $300,000 in donor support. • Led organization’s annual gala including strategy, volunteer committee, all logistics and vendors. This NYC-based evening raised $550,000. Exceeded gross fundraising goal by $75,000. • Developed strategy and deployed Clinical Coordinator Incentive program to attract more DM research funding and to grow and retain the next generation of leaders in the DM space. • Assisted in project for international Care Considerations creation, peer-review, and publication for myotonic dystrophy physician and patient communities. Managed culminating event bringing international team of 50+ DM physicians involved across US, Europe, Canada for professionally facilitated comprehensive clinical areas discussions and decisions ahead of submittal. • Strategy and creation of MDF “DM Days” program bringing one-day DM-focused conferences to 4 key regional markets to enhance exposure of MDF, provide patient/family community with critical information, and create engagement and networking support opportunities for patients/families. • Managed first ever externally-led FDA Patient and Family Drug Development meeting with community members, patient panels, FDA representatives, clinicians and researchers. • Board prospect identification, education, cultivation and development to support ongoing efforts of CEO and organization. • Curated and executed successful events at local and national level including MDF National Conference programming and support, other various fundraising cultivation events
