KNPI Water Supply Project~This project included comprehensive design and construction of a water supply system spanning 300km² increasing service capacity from 400,000 to 700,000 beneficiaries. The scope involved the development of transmission and distribution pipe networks, 27 service reservoirs, 22 pump station facilities, and the enhancement of the water treatment plant infrastructure.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:• Project Management: Oversaw construction of infrastructure assets, including reservoirs, pump stations, and pipelines, ensuring contractor performance met project specifications, timelines, and budgets.• Defect Resolution and Quality Assurance: Led defect identification and resolution during construction, maintaining quality standards to ensure assets met operational requirements.• Commissioning and Handover: Managed the commissioning process and operational acceptance, coordinating inspections, documentation, and final defect resolution for compliant asset handover.• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborated with contractors, regulatory bodies, and operational teams to manage project challenges, implement design changes, and maintain alignment with regulatory standards.• Conducted data analysis for water demand forecasting and growth rates.• Used WaterGEMS and GIS for cost-effective and energy-efficient water distribution design.• Optimized reservoir siting using GIS techniques, reducing energy expenditure.• Evaluated sites for construction viability, addressing environmental and social constraints.• Ensured code compliance, prepared cost estimates, and proactively addressed progress issues.• Managed subordinates, delegated tasks, and ensured adherence to quality standards.
