I have a multi-disciplined marketing background that includes digital, web development and design. I also hold a Squared Online digital marketing certification with Google, a degree in Multimedia and a Masters in Graphic Arts. Throughout my career I have continuously updated and enhanced my knowledge and abilities. I currently co-run Happy by Design - a digital and design agency based in Cheltenham (www.happybydesign.co.uk). Our mission is to support small businesses with all their marketing needs. Through this I have expanded my business acumen and have passionately developed Happy by Design from initial concept through to a newly trading start up business. Previously I managed the Creative Services team at Fasthosts Internet Ltd, part of United Internet, a leading Internet Service Provider. My team was responsible for the creative execution of the brand, website and campaigns including SEA, social, email and video. In this role I managed copywriters, designers and front-end developers, as well as directing the activity of external suppliers for photography, videography and affiliate marketing.Prior to this I led the Digital Media team at the University of Gloucestershire and was responsible for: video development (both viral and general YouTube promotion), social media marketing, search engine marketing & optimisation and the design and development of the main website (www.glos.ac.uk). I also managed and created bespoke websites, email campaigns and other media and developed and monitored our e-marketing and social media strategies.Enthusiastic and passionate about my career, I enjoy all things creative and am comfortable managing others, working autonomously, or within a team.
