The company is involved in designing, manufacturing, installation, and assembly of storage systems for automotive, retail, wholesale and logistics industries, containing both automatic and manual systems.2. As a structural engineer, I am part of a group of people involved in making sure that the structure is safe and reliable to perform the intended task. I conduct a detailed analysis of the structures in RFEM and use European or American standards to evaluate their strengths.3. Based on the detailed analysis I prepared detailed structural reports to be handed over to the clients. I worked on projects in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and France.4. I worked in teams in close coordination with Engineers responsible for detail drawings of the layouts and components and also with the Project manager to understand the requirements and issue of the clients.

1. To analyze the stinger of Pioneering Spirit for fatigue damage.2. Due to the unique design of the ship, the stinger is placed between two bows. The relative deflection due to dynamic forces can lead to an increase in fatigue damage of the stinger.3. The main feature of my approach was to used FEM software (in this case FEMAP - NX Nastran) to calculate the stress response of the structure under different loading conditions.

1. Worked on "Dynamic analysis of belt conveyor system" involving coupled Multi-Body Dynamics and Finite Element Method to study the effects of the transient operation on driving pulley shaft.2. I modeled and designed the conveyor system in Creo Parametric v2.0. 3. I used ADAMS (Automated Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems) to calculate the forces in form of axial force and bending moment acting on the driving pulley shaft. 4.These values where then you used to calculate the dynamic von-misses stress acting on the shaft using Ansys workbench. These dynamic stresses where then used to calculate fatigue life of the shaft using J-Rain.

1. Electrical & Automation is one of the eight main divisions of the company mainly dealing with design, manufacture and maintain low voltage switchgear.2. Majority of my work involved conceptualizing and designing safety mechanism which would provide a unique feature to the product at the same time maintaining the effectiveness and regulations stated in IEC 61439.3. Conceptualization involved dissecting the customer requirements into detail specification and using Pro-Engineer v5.0 to model and design an efficient solution.4. I also ran some simple simulations in Pro-mechanism (integrated with Pro-E) to find any critical areas in the mechanism.5. I worked mostly in teams with close coordination with manufacturing to resolve any mechanical or electrical issues at the customer site or within the factory. Creating 2D drawings, bill of materials and test reports and maintaining them in the ERP system were some of the additional tasks.

1. To conceptualize and design a mechanism to operate the smallest variant of Switch disconnector.2. The mechanism was designed using 3D modeling software (Pro-E), structural analysis was conducted in Pro-mechanica. The mechanism was analyzed to ensure structural integrity and reliability under transient operation.3. The design was appreciated for its innovative approach. Learned a great deal about 3D modeling software (Pro-e) which proved to be helpful while working.
