Pankaj Panging has a deep background in data science, full-stack software development (multiple languages), and data engineering and has held various leadership positions in these fields. Currently, he is the Chief Data Officer of Ad Hoc Research. He has led and mentored three major data science and data migration projects for a telecom giant using the state-of-the-art tech stack in a cloud infrastructure. In relation to the defense industries, he is leading the company’s data science capabilities and capabilities such as automation at the edge. In one of his prior roles, he also led the development of a database hub, spanning many verticals, to build a "one source of truth" and a curated data lake for a blue-chip company s, enhancing the security of access to the systems.Pankaj's goal is to transform Ad Hoc Research into one of the most innovative, efficient, and result-oriented tech companies.He holds individual and group patents related to cyber security authentication and authorization and is a member of various AI and data science organizations.In his past roles, Pankaj worked as a Deputy Chief Engineer for a rail transport company, where he led the design and development of several mid to large power substations from the ground up to full commissioning. In addition to his professional pursuits, he had started two entrepreneurial ventures in the electronic signature and affordable insurance tech spaces.He has also published a sci-fi novel, "The WARGER Bubble" as well as a few other short stories. Pankaj is a frequent speaker at data science and artificial intelligence forums and serves as a judge at regional science fairs.
