I work as a DevOps engineer supporting Ad-hoc Research development of products for defense and space institutions. Environment consists of OpenStack, Red Hat, Kubernetes, Docker and other related tools in the Dev Ops field. Additional software and systems include NGINX, Postgres DBs, proprietary tools covering modeling and simulation, data analysis, machine learning, and big data processing among others.

Cyber Battle Lab - Fort Gordon Ga

Worked at the Cyber Battle Lab supporting infrastructure (Physical datacenter HP, Dell etc., Virtual environment (VMware), Storage solutions (Synology, NetApp, VSANs). I built and supported Windows environment (KMS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Exchange server, Chat server, etc.). I built and supported as needed Linux servers and clients for various experimental needs including targets, ACAS / Nessus systems, Splunk etc. I built and maintained the Battle Command and Control Systems suite and the new replacement Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) suite in support of integrators, analysts, operators in experimentation involving vendor systems and existing government systems.I built and maintained many Windows and Linux clients for operators and for target machines (physical and virtual). I assisted vendors (companies such as Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics and many smaller technical and engineering vendors) as well as government partners such as NSA affiliates, ARCYBER, Cyber Command, Army Futures Command, Cyber Center of Excellence in the integration, experimentation and evaluation of system and software solutions to satisfy future Army needs.I performed extra duties to support NEC systems as an Information Assurance Network Operator (IANO).I attended, supervised and coordinated activities to lead or support many projects including Cyber Quest, AEWE, and MFIX.

I work at the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) - Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) - Cyber Battle Lab (CBL). The CBL is now under the Army Futures Command (AFC) as of Jan 2019. I performed as the Deputy Program Manager and Contract Lead for the Army Expeditionary Warrior Experimentation Lead Technical Integration Team until 2018. I am now performing as a Senior Software Engineer for the Live Experimentation (LE) section supporting multiple experiments including an annual CCoE experiment known as Cyber Quest as well as an Information Assurance Network Officer (IANO) for LE. section.

I supported a complex DOD intelligence system, the Tactical Exploitation System (TES) in multiple environments including hostile deployments. System included many flavors of UNIX (Solaris, Trusted Solaris, SGI Irix and HP Unix), Red hat Linux, and Windows servers. I was responsible for networking in strategic and tactical environments. My tasks included maintenance, upgrades, security, scripting, obtaining requirements and in-depth troubleshooting. I left this position for location preference, it was a very rewarding experience and my coworkers were of the highest caliber. The management was caring, incredibly competent and took very good care of their people.

I worked first as a Squad Leader providing intelligence on the Serbian/Bosnian/Kosovo missions to special forces and to multiple three letter agencies. I ended my tour as the NCOIC, OIC, and Operations NCO of the 66th MI Group's ELINT section. It was a very rewarding assignment which allowed for a great deal of technical proficiency and leadership experience. I provided products on missions in the areas above to SOC and other major commands and agencies.

I worked at the ATCAE for the Sergeant Major during first year, then one year as the ELINT Watch Officer on the NSOC floor, and two years as an NCO of the ELINT Operations Office. This was a very rewarding assignment where I learned a lot and grew technically proficient as well as honed my management skills and team building abilities. I wrote over 900 TACREPs and covered thousands of validations of signals during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
