I hold a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Sussex University, UK, and since 1990 I have been a C Level executive in the Information Technology sector, specializing in the maritime industry. Currently I am the Business Development Director & Head of Support Dept of Danaos Maritime Software Group (www.danaos.gr), one of the largest software providers in the global maritime sector. I am Head of the global Sales and Customer Care departments, managing a team of 70+ consultants and sales representatives world-wide. In the past I have been I.T. Manager at major shipping firms and a founder of the Association of I.T. Managers of shipping companies (Ammitec, www.ammitec.org).
