He is also an Insolvency Professional, Registered Valuer in Securities/Financial Assets, Business & Finance Professional (ICAEW), and Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE, USA) with a DISA certification from ICAI.Paras has extensive experience advising entrepreneurs, businesses, and NPOs on corporate tax, corporate reorganization, inbound and outbound investment strategies, corporate finance, debt solutions, transaction support for both buy and sell-side mandates, pre-deal evaluation, tax due diligence, strategic analysis and benchmarking, financial analysis and valuation, insolvency resolutions, and ESG. He has also worked with EY India.An accomplished author, Paras has written numerous papers and articles for eminent journals, magazines, and newspapers. He is a sought-after speaker at professional forums such as ICAI and ICSI, and organizations like Quest India and Rotary International. His views have been featured in leading newspapers including the Economic Times, Times of India, Mint, Moneycontrol.com, and DNA, and he has appeared on national television. Paras contributes monthly updates on recent case laws on direct tax for the WIRC of ICAI Newsletter, which circulates more than 185,000 copies each month.Paras holds leadership positions as an independent director and with various professional and trade organizations. He is currently a Governing Council Member of the Indo-BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce & Industry, was President of the Chamber of Tax Consultants (2014-15), and is a current member of the Journal Committee CTC.
