Roles and Responsibilities• Managing small and large mechanical projects for food, pharma, and manufacturing industries. • Project includes installation of industrial steam boilers systems, chiller systems, pipe spine, hot water systems, compressed air systems, food processing equipment at customer sites and manufacturing of different pressure vessels such as deaerators, accumulators, blowdown tanks, heat exchangers and skid assembly in the fabrication shop. • Review RFQ, identify project requirement and prepare quotes using salesforce.• Prepare detailed project schedules, Gantt Chart and milestones using Excel, MS Projects. • Work collaboratively with the project team to define Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the Critical Path.• Identify project deliverables, conduct weekly progress meeting with stakeholders and prepare reports.• Managing a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural team consisting of mechanical engineers, instrumentation engineer, electrician, welders, pipefitters, and service technician to execute projects both in the fabrication shop and at customers sites. • Prepare RFQ for vendors and sub-contractors, review quotes based on price, quality, and availability. • Create purchase orders and negotiate project specific terms with sub-contractors to manage the cashflow effectively. • Deeply involved with design engineering team to develop new products and optimum solutions for customers. • Visit customer sites and execute detailed study of the current steam condensate system, HVAC system to specify areas of improvement. Work closely with building service team to prepare a preventive maintenance plan to run the plant smoothly and efficiently. • Review P&Id and 3D assembly drawings before submitting to customer’s approval. • Works with TSSA and city inspectors to get necessary approvals for different projects.
