Project Control Engineer
CurrentSelf-starter and able to manage multiple Projects in various stages of completion, show ability to motivate individuals in multiple departments to ensure the success and timeliness of their projects, and be able to report to upper management the financial health of their Projects throughout the life of the Project.Maintain detailed design, procurement, manufacturing and assembly programmes and report regularly on project status and deliveries.Handle commercial issues on received orders, scope of supply discussions, drawing approvals and reviews, and shipping issues as they arise.Ensuring delivery targets are met in all areas (hardware, documentation)Interact with the sales managers to ensure timely handovers of new projectsReport regularly on project status both internally and externally.Monitor the progress of Projects, participate in interdepartmental meetings to discuss forecasted cost and project margins for those Projects, and be able to explain cost over runs if and when they take placeWork with the company Epicor system to enter Projects, drive sourcing requirements, build the initial budget, and update the budget as necessaryProvide clear information to factory/Parent Business Units for manufacturing and driving customer requirements in manufacturing.Monitor and expedite internal & external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software to support OTD of projects across all projects.Maintain up-to-date project costs and provide periodic reports on project status and performance to management and the client, working to budgets and delivering to marginEnsure adherence to health and safety standards in compliance with company policy to ensure safe working environment.Interact and respond to all aspects of the companyReview and continually improve current processes in line with project management methodologies.This position is for the one who enjoys working in an international and challenging environment.
