I was responsible for planning, developing, overseeing, and implementing the RR46 IT Strategy, which served 230+ users across 8 companies that we owned. I led a small team to achieve significant results. Additionally, I was a member of the Canadian Leadership team, where I collaborated with management and staff to ensure that IT services were secure and top-notch.My responsibilities included managing budgets, IT governance, procurement, policy development, security, infrastructure, controls, storage & compute, endpoint devices, and more. I successfully led the complete transition of Rockpoint Gas Storage from traditional on-premises Exchange to Office365 (Very early adopter). Additionally, I played a key role in corporate rebranding efforts, which involved migrating users and services to a new domain, facilitating the transition to new email addresses, and more, through custom script (Powershell) development.I took the lead in implementing a comprehensive disaster recovery plan utilizing Microsoft Azure, Offsite Backup, and DFS-R. Furthermore, I assumed business analyst duties during the rollout of financial reporting software and successfully implemented a Legal Document Management System.Throughout my tenure, I provided mentorship to the helpdesk team and offered backup support for the infrastructure team.
