Founded Partel Inc. as a business telecommunications voice and data provider. Became one of the first US West/ Qwest Strategic Partners and Agents. Partel grew to one of the largest full service business telephone systems companies in Arizona with offices in Tucson and Phoenix. Products and services included T-1, PRI, Centrex, internet and data access, fiber optics, large PBX, key systems, data networks, structured cable, installation and maintenance and consulting. In April 2002, Partel was sold to Pentastar, Inc.

Elected to Town Council in 1995 to fill the remaining term of a recalled Council member. Won re-election in 1996 and was selected by fellow Council Members to be Vice Mayor; served as Council Liaison to the Police Department, Transportation Committee, Fire Advisory Board; worked as member of the League of Cities, and Towns Resolution Committee.

PAG is the Regional Planning Organization for Pima County. The board is made up of elected officials from the cities of Tucson and South Tucson, the towns of Marana, Sahuarita, Oro Valley and the Pima County Board of Supervisors. Worked with state and federal agencies to secure road and highway funds and distributed those funds throughout Pima County; worked with elected officials and government staff at all levels. As Chairperson in 1999, the National Planning Association named PAG the Best Regional Planning Organization in the United States.
