Aide-de-Camp to the Chief of Air Force Reserve and Commander, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC)Serve as the Aide-de-Camp to Lieutenant General John Healy Chief of Air Force Reserve and Commander of Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC). This prestigious role involves providing direct support to the Commander and ensuring seamless coordination of all activities and operations. As the leader of Philadelphia’s Gateway Control Center—a critical hub with nearly 40 international flights daily to Europe and over 650 arrivals and departures overall—I am responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure we meet the highest standards set by American Airlines and regulatory bodies like the FAA. My role involves developing, implementing, and refining local operating processes in compliance with all requirements, keeping our operations seamlessly aligned.I am well-versed in managing not only regular operations but also navigating irregular scenarios, such as ramp closures and other potential disruptions. I proactively create and monitor operational plans to address challenges like weather, air traffic, and mechanical issues, ensuring minimal delays and efficient service. With expertise in contingency planning, I prevent extended tarmac delays and ensure compliance with DOT regulations, enhancing the passenger experience.Collaboration is central to my approach, as I work closely with network and regional partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience, along with the IOC, internal departments, and FAA’s ATC Tower. I also ensure our procedures align with American’s broader Gateway and Hub Control Centers through the Control Center Harmonization project.
