The Alexander Hamilton Society is a national non-partisan organization dedicated to encouraging the next generation of world leaders through organizing foreign policy debates on college campuses.While I have enjoyed all of my time serving on the executive board, this past year has been particularly rewarding. In October, we put on the first-ever AHS Tech Event: a day-long conference where 10 speakers discussed issues involving tech and national security for over 300 total audience members. This was a culmination of months of planning, organizing, and coordinating logistics and I cannot wait to see where the chapter goes from here.

TEDxFoggyBottom is an annual TEDx conference that serves over 1,300 attendees and 14 speakers in the greater DMV area. During my three years on the team, I had the pleasure of putting on two virtual and one in-person TEDx conference.

As an intern assigned to Senator Wyden's Tech Policy Team, I researched the impact of surveillance in domestic violence cases, met with stakeholders, and wrote the bill proposal for what is now (S.5279) - Tech Safety for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Act

Worked on Joe Buck's successful grassroots campaign for Mayor of Lake Oswego focused on key issues such as supporting local businesses through the pandemic, environmental stewardship, and expanding DEI initiatives. I am extremely proud of the results this student-run campaign achieved - pulling off an outright win in a three-way race.

Life skills learned (list is not comprehensive):- Can clean a crab in under 90 seconds- Can identify shrimp by type, size, and weight- Can identify types of fish by the fillet (hopeless at identifying whole fish)
