My experience crosses many areas. I was a private school teacher and I received the teacher of the year award for the school in my first year. I worked in the warehouse division for Walmart. I was trained and successful in all job functions of the warehouse. I became an area manager and our team was ranked 4th in the company according to key indices when I started, moving to 1st before I was transferred to another shift that was struggling. The shift was ranked 29th (out of 42 in the category) when I started and we moved up to being between 10th-15th weekly. I transitioned to Publix Super Markets in order to interact with customers more. In 5 months I became a team leader and just before one year I became an assistant grocery manager. While in my current position, my department has continued to grow in sales and our inventory control has improved as well. I have a passion for analytics, creating and adjusting spreadsheets, and understanding and communicating what my team needs to do to reach company goals.
