My focus in this position was to teach career classes to developing professionals. Life Skills is a 5-week, more than 200 hour program. My favorite part was attending one of these graduations and seeing their successes!

I had the privilege of pioneering two new workforce programs as a Back to Work Specialist and Work Success Career Coach. Both programs were successful in not only employing hundreds of job seekers but enhancing their career and soft skills; these experiences are where I developed my love and connection to Social and Human Services. ★ A Few Notable Achievements:Published contributor in the DWS statewide premier Smart Start Guide- a career-focused magazine to promote effective job searching strategies and labor market information provided to all job seekers (check out the media below). Worked on a team to develop “Work Strategies,” an instructional training program which trained nearly 200 employees how to improve inefficiencies in their work and with their clients. This training received praise as one of the best employee training programs!Trained 100’s of customers based on individual job needs and placed 50%+ of clients in jobs within 4 weeks’ time.
