I ride a longboard to work. On the weekends I bike or surf or sometimes tell stories through visual media. When I was young I told my parents I wanted to be an inventor like Thomas Edison or Leonardo da Vinci. "You know, no one is graduating college as an 'inventor' these days" my mom said. "They are called engineers."The motifs of my career aspirations today are measurable impact and pushing the boundaries of business systems and strategy. I bring the inquisitive mindset of a lifelong learner to the projects at hand.At the forefront of my strengths is a demonstrated ability to push swiftly through learning curves and master new skills because of:- a proactive approach to mentorship- effective communication approaches- an excitement for learning at an accelerated pace- a commitment to being a resourceful team playerI once brought creativity and thoughtfulness to Service Operations at Tesla where I explored what it meant to drive change in a supply chain with data. The maker communities in the Bay Area and Boston motivate me, and I am fascinated with a work culture where we all share the desire to make new ways of carrying people further and accelerating the growth of our communities. I come from a technical background in mechanical design, and I have a heart for supporting the success of products downstream in manufacturing, operations, and service. It has been more than five years, and I am happy to see more electric vehicles on the highways. As an advocate for commuting with electric vehicles, I continue to promote infrastructure for skateboards, scooters, and cycles as well as technology innovations that strengthen the feasibility of commuting with these vehicles.Since 2022, it has been especially rewarding to foster community growth locally in Castro Valley and East Bay. I seek out others who are interested in ideating on what it takes to thrive in the Bay Area as parents, home owners, business owners, job applicants, and students.
