I'm a junior at STEAM Academy in Lexington, Kentucky, with a passion for politics, law, and civic engagement. As an active member of several youth organizations, including the High School Democrats of America (HSDA), the Kentucky High School Democrats (KYHSD), and the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association (KYYMCA), I am committed to making a positive impact in my community and beyond.In my role as the Vice Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee for the KYYMCA and Chair of the Kentucky High School Democrats, I have developed strong leadership, organizational, and advocacy skills. These positions have allowed me to work closely with peers and mentors to promote civic involvement, influence policy, and support initiatives that benefit all Kentuckians.I aim to pursue a career in law and public service, becoming a lawyer and eventually an elected official. I believe in the power of informed, empathetic leadership and am dedicated to working towards a more equitable and just society. My journey is driven by a commitment to service and a desire to create meaningful change.
