Co-developed Structure for Youth Track at the National Convention on School-Based Health Care. Reviewed Abstracts, Coordinated Logistics and General Oversight of Youth Track for 25 Youth from across the country. As a result, newly designed Youth Track integrated into National Conference that hosts 500+ people annually.

Statewide, NC

Developed Multi-Year Plan to organize and activate grassroots groups of youth doing local health care advocacy to increase access. Recruited, Trained and Activated 12 cohorts of Youth Across the State and Developed Youth Advocacy Toolkit. Coordinated over 30 Media Hits, 20+ Local Advocacy Projects, and 2 Presentations at Statewide Conference.

Organized and trained over 20 groups in Eastern NC per year to a total of over 1,500 participants, who were then engaged in doing local advocacy and systems change work. Provided wrap around technical assistance and recruited, hired, and trained a team of peer educators/organizers. As a result of the work that I invested in, significant legislation was.

Managed the vision of a community-owned business through implementation of cooperative buying standards within the largest department in the store. As a result of my work, community stakeholders were consistently engaged while managing a bottom line that was consistently 10%+ above industry standards. Produced 25% of store gross income totaling $4.2M.
