After years of handling complex commercial litigation matters at large law firms, I now focus my practice on representing individuals and businesses in a wide variety of civil disputes, including: contract disputes and business torts; insurance coverage and bad faith claims; corporate and shareholder disputes; environmental disputes; trust and estate litigation; financial services disputes; and disputes involving trade secrets, covenants not to compete and non-solicitation agreements.In addition to my litigation practice, I am certified by the NC Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct Superior Court mediations, as well as mediations of estate and guardianship cases. I have also served as an arbitrator in a variety of civil disputes. As a mediator and arbitrator, I offer a balanced perspective based on my years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
