Under the collaboration of EAWAG-SANDEC ( A Swiss Aquatic Research Organisation) and TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences), worked as a Tiss-Eawag Fellow in Tuljapur to prepare an "On-Field Practicum Guide for WASH (Water , Sanitation and Hygiene) in Rural India" for young WASH professionals and students.

Gained experience of various architecture and heritage conservation projects by working on them in different capacities. Some of them are:- Preliminary assessment of Payal Quila in Punjab for heritage monument conservation- Preliminary assessment of houses of Indian freedom struggle revolutionaries like Sukhdev, Lala Lajpat Rai, Kartar Singh and Udham Singh in Punjab for the purpose of their conservation.- Initialising architectural surveys of government fruit and vegetable mandis (wholesale markets) at Gorakhpur and Allahabad for revitalisation.- Prepared and presented the design proposal for the head office of Central Bank of India at Lucknow in a tendering design competition.

Found the good fortune to run my own architectural enterprise. Some of the major projects undertaken by me during my tenure at the office were:- Kaifi Azmi Kala Kendra, Lucknow : A 300 seater contemporary thrust theatre built as per the vision of celebrated actress Ms. Shabana Azmi ( daughter of acclaimed poet Late Mr. Kaifi Azmi) and with the guidance of acclaimed movie director M.S. Sathyu. - Community Health Centre at Pilibhit for Uttar Pradesh Samaaj Kalyan Nirman Nigam (UPSKNN)- Trade Tax Office at Pilibhit for Uttar Pradesh Samaaj Kalyan Nirman Nigam (UPSKNN)- Architectural designs and turn key constructions for various other residential projects in Lucknow and Delhi.

Worked on various small ( residences and farm houses)and large scale (small residential townships) projects. Specifically learned to work on technical details of architectural drawings and learned the basics of effective planning and design which comes out as sustainable and resource efficient.

Worked on high end residential interiors. Ranging from high range villas to luxury DLF apartments in Gurgaon. Learned a great deal about interior materials, their balanced usage and developed a sense of their application by knowing their flexibility and limits. Learned 3D visualization and most importantly organised management system of a large scale architectural firm.
