I am ophthalmologist with specialised expertise in adult cataract surgery, complex strabismus and paediatric eye disorders.I grew up and trained in Sydney before completing prestigious surgical fellowships in the U.K. (Birmingham, Cheltenham & Oxford) and the U.S.A. (Pittsburgh). I have worked with world leading ophthalmologists and refined my surgical skills using new techniques and cutting-edge technology. Over the course of my career, I have received numerous awards and scholarships, published widely in peer-reviewed literature, and been invited to deliver lectures at international ophthalmology meetings. I am a member of several local and international societies (RANZCO, AMA, AAO, WSPOS, ANZSS, ESCRS, ESA). I am passionate about medical education and have been involved in teaching throughout my professional life. I am a Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sydney and teach eye surgery at several public hospitals including Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick & The Sutherland Hospital.
