About Parul Singh
Thanks for checking out my profile 👋🏾 After years of working in Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding in tech, I founded Parallel Minds; a Neurodiversity consultancy on a mission to build a better future for Neurodivergent people in tech. My "why" is a pretty personal one. I spent the first 25 years of my life not knowing I was Autistic and ADHD. I scraped by in education, but it didn't come without a cost: extreme burnout and rather self-destructive behaviours. The challenges followed me into the workplace, and eventually, I was diagnosed in 2021; the missing piece of the puzzle I never knew I had. Since then I've devoted my career to creating positive change for Neurodivergent people in the workplace. Everything I do is centred on intersectionality because, in the aftermath of my diagnosis, I could barely find any fellow AuDHD women, let alone any AuDHD women of colour to help me find comfort in my experiences. In addition to my work with Parallel Minds, I sit on the board for Manchester Tech Festival, I'm a Community Manager of The Talent Community and I'm an experienced public speaker. Outside of work, I enjoy playing the piano (which I've done since I was 8 years old) 🎹 , cooking recipes from around the world 🌎 or throwing some weights around the gym 🏋🏾 If you're looking for support as an individual or your business needs some Neurodiversity consultancy, please feel free to reach out.
