As a dedicated biomedical engineer with a Master's degree (UniBern), I am currently contributing to innovative healthcare solutions at the ARTORG Center as a BRIDGE fellow. My focus is on developing and managing the TightValve project, an innovative medical device designed to assist heart surgeons in aortic valve surgereries.Prior to this, I completed my Bachelor's degree in micromechanical engineering and gained valuable hands-on experience through an apprenticeship as a watchmaker at Ulysse Nardin. This unique background has equipped me with a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for precision, essential in both engineering and medical device development.Outside of my professional career, I am also pursuing an athlete career in orienteering and mountain running (https://pascalbuchs.ch). I'm also member of the swiss national team. My sport career has taught me the dedication, organization, and discipline necessary for success, qualities that I also try to bring to my daily work.
