TightValve is a young start-up from the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research (University of Bern) and our aim is to bring forward a novel device for measuring aortic valve leakage during surgery which will allow surgeons to fix leaky valves before the heart is restarted and the patient is disconnected from the cardiopulmonary bypass system.
We are currently working with a BRIDGE PoC grant to conduct the first patient trial of our device by early 2025.
