As a Human Rights Consultant and Researcher, I supported the implementation of the Human Rights Due Diligence Policy for UN support to non-UN security forces, conducting research, analysis, and reporting on human rights issues and risks in various contexts. I also collaborated with UN agencies, civil society organizations, and national authorities to promote human rights standards and principles, and to advocate for the rights of victims of human rights violations.I have a Master of Law degree in International Law from Beirut Arab University, and a certificate in International Criminal Law and Procedure from T.M.C. Asser Institute, the Hague. As one of the top 10 students in the IUP 2019 cohort, I had the opportunity to visit The Hague and learn from the STL, ICC, and UN international mechanism for criminal tribunals. I have previous experience as an Associate Human Rights Officer at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, where I contributed to the monitoring and documentation of human rights situations, and the preparation and dissemination of human rights reports and publications. I have strong emotional intelligence, digital skills, and communication skills, which enable me to work effectively individually and in teams, with a positive attitude and a high level of professionalism. I am organized, detail-oriented, and conscious, and I have good interpersonal, analytical, evaluative, and research skills in the field of criminal law and human rights. I am passionate about advancing global justice and human dignity, and I am eager to learn and grow as a human rights practitioner.
