I'm Product Manager for smart metering devices. I'm responsible for communication technologies and smart metering products. My expertise areas cover wide range of communication technologies from NAN (Neighborhood Area Networks) including PLC and RF Mesh technologies to WAN communication using LTE, NB-IoT, 3G or 2G technologies.

I was leading Data and Application Centric Product Family for Professional Mobile Radio products at Cassidian. (Previously known as EADS Secure Networks Oy). My expertice area was focused on data applications e.g. for SCADA and Smartgrid application and further development of data radios and modems. The major technologies under interest were TETRA.

I worked as Marketability Team Leader and Senior Product Manager at Jyväskylä site. In Senior Product Manager's role I was creating innovative Nokia Nseries high-end and flagship multimedia phones like Nokia N86 8MP and Nokia N85. As a ProductManager I was responsible for product requirements and specification to ensure product competitiveness and customer.

Marketability team leader and Senior Product Manager. As a Senior Product Manager I worked for the Nokia N85 and the Nokia N90 and also with new product concepts. The Nokia N90 was the first Nokia Nseries product ever, a real flagship product of the time. It featured exclusive Carl Zeiss optics for the first time and also very innovative and fancy three.

I worked as Product Manager for the Nokia N90 and concepting.

I was creating Nokia THR880 and TMR880 as Product Manager. The Nokia THR880 is widely adopted TETRA PMR handportable radio featuring unique and innovative wearable two-sided concept. TMR880 is TETRA mobile terminal for the same product family. Still on the market available products THR880i and TMR880i are based on these two great pioneers.

As region responsible Product Manager I was responsible to be terminal interface towards regions and individual countries for TETRA businesses of Nokia. My responsibilities included product requirement definitions for product development programs, seeking of solutions for TETRA business cases in various countries. Replying on SoCs and RFIs as well as being.

As R&D Manager I was responsible for R&D electronics department (1992-1999) and mechanics department (1997-1999). Main activities were relating product management and development of HS-94 (hesS96-36A), the first artillery proximity fuze produced in Finland, and modernisation of the Anti-Aircraft-Gun AAG-23 for Finnish Defence Forces.

I was responsible of developing stand-alone measurement system for artillery proximity fuzes using radio frequency technologies.

I was responsible of teaching vocational subjects in Electrical Department (electronics, electrical engineering, automation technology and electronic lab).

As part of my master thesis I was responsible for developing of robust portable impulse radar data and control unit. Contribution of many other projects of the Applied electronics laboratory (e.g. satellite temperature control, photosynthesis evaluation, avionics).
