As a core member of the Ascend Learning Technology Leadership team I manage a team of technical leads and oversee all day-to-day technical operations. Additionally I work to ensure Ascend meets all compliance standards on security and privacy as well as working to ensure we maintain a robust and reliable technological infrastructure and facilitate integration of technology across the organization. As CISO, I report to the CTO and work directly with the Ascend Learning General Counsel to accommodate corporate security and privacy governance concerns. I bring hands-on as well as strategic thought leadership regarding security, technology and products. In addition, I work to create strong partnerships across business units and functional groups to deliver competitive advantages and organizational leadership.

Sr. Engineer responsible for PC support for 1000 corporate and remote users. Managed internal PC repair facility, managed Helpdesk Novell server environment, network switches, printers and 5250 CICS support program.

Responsibilities included presentation and development of corporate and field training programs. Coordination and management of IS training components including, development of methodology, scope and implementation plans. Development of standards and direction for Training Department technology including systems and application support.
