Dan MacKinnon was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and studied at Dalhousie University, Knox College (University of Toronto), and Fuller Seminary (California). He has pastored four churches in Ontario since 1983, in Englehart (2 hours north of North Bay), Bobcaygeon (in the Kawarthas), Scarborough and Ottawa. He has been a pastor, an adjunct professor at Tyndale University, a mentor in a pastors program at Ashland Seminary in Ohio, and for numerous students. He has taught in leadership conferences in India, been a speaker and worship leader for church renewal conferences, and a caregiver, small group leader for various seminars and events for Healing Care Ministries (https://www.healingcare.org) on whose board he currently sits. He has also been Chaplain to the Ottawa baseball teams in the CanAm League (now the Frontier League).Dan has over forty years of experience as a pastor and because knows the trials of life in ministry desires to simply come along side pastors, Christian leaders and churches to encourage them where they are in their next steps with Christ. He longs to see the Church renewed, revived, and reengaged in fulfilling the Great Commission. Currently he is the Church/Mission Liaison for the Africa Inland Mission (Canada) where he works with churches and pastors.
