As a former businessman, owning and operating a small business, a former registered representative, trading government-backed securities institutionally and as a former funds development officer, I am better equipped and qualified for sustaining organizational goals in nearly any Presbyterian church that is experiencing a fall-off in attendance or economics. Yet the turning around of a reducing church is not, by any stretch, a slam-dunk. It is not something a "one-man" charismatic personality can sustain in the long run without the serious long-term commitments by the constituency. I bring to the table a means of returning an un-healthy congregation to more sustainable healthy position for a brighter future of ministry. Revitalizing a declining congregation in nearly any marketplace can be accomplished if the core group is committed to developing its purpose for existence based upon biblical principles. Revitalization is preferred over church planting in many circumstances but redefining the central purpose of existence and committing to that purpose is the key towards returning to a healthy status. My goals in re-igniting a church are simple.
