Pat Collins is President and Chief Executive Officer of SESAC Performing Rights the nation’s fastest growing performing rights organization. He is a business graduate of Capital University, Columbus, Ohio and holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Trevecca Nazarene University. He came to SESAC in 1995 after a twenty-one year career in the performing rights industry. At SESAC Collins served as Senior Vice President of Licensing for several years before being named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2004 and CEO in 2014.Collins is a past president of Nashville’s Leadership Music. He has been a member of Mayor Karl Dean’s Music Business Council, in partnership with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. He was honored with the 2009 Sage Award at the end of July during the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals Third Annual Nashville Emerging Leader Awards held at Lipscomb University. The award is given to one of Nashville’s top leaders who have made an impact on the city’s young professional demographic. Mr. Collins is also involved with other music business management initiatives and academic institutions within the Nashville community and is a graduate of the prestigious Leadership Nashville program.
