Patrick leads the Cloud Business Unit, tasked with creating, launching of, enablement of and maintenance of the Public Cloud and Hybrid Cloud go to market strategy for Softchoice. The Cloud Business Unit team is a part of the Solutions and Alliances organization. Within the Cloud Business Unit, there are seven teams. Hybrid Cloud Software and Hardware, AWS and Google teams focused on driving our specific GTM strategies for each group of partners, presales support, business development and program management. Additionally, the team includes the Cloud Solutions team tasked with Softchoice services portfolio and product management of the services offerings. The Cloud Presales Architecture team is also in the Cloud Business unit as well as a vendor focused sales team known as Agency Sales. The Cloud BU also shares accountability for the Cisco, Microsoft and Security businesses at Softchoice where those partnerships align to Hybrid and Public cloud solutions and products.

Patrick leads the team of Cloud Architects that work with Softchoice customers in a presales context. This team is tasked with aligning customer business transformation objectives to enabling technology solutions from Public, Private, and Hybrid cloud technology platforms and services. The team is made up of Journey Architects that help the customer through their journey to Public Cloud and Hybrid IT Infrastructure and Application platforms. The partners that the Cloud Architecture team works with include Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, Cisco, and many other data center software and hardware vendor partners. In addition, the team has a group of Cloud Leaders that represent Softchoice to our vendor partners for alignment and facilitation of co-selling of solutions.

Patrick leads a team within Softchoice that sets the direction and drives enablement of Softchoice cloud services business. Within his team, there are four teams that have roles in this objective. The Solution Development Team builds the services offerings and methodologies that Softchoice goes to market with.The Cloud Transformation Team delivers advanced cloud projects that include DevOps, App and Data Modernization and many other cloud solutions with a methodology that embraces the concepts of agile and innovation for Softchoice Customers.The Cloud Migration Services Team develops and delivers velocity cloud migrations and methodologies that enable rapid and large scale customer moves to cloud.The Innovation Leadership team aligns to Softchoice cloud vendor partners and enable sales and pre-sales on the Softchoice Services catalog for cloud. This team works directly with Microsoft, Google, Amazon, VMware and others to drive success for Softchoice Customers.

As Sr. Manager of Public Cloud Innovation, Patrick has a team of 38 practice leaders, architects and engineers with various responsibilities. The areas of focus are on services capabilities and offering development, sales and pre-sales enablement and professional and managed services enablement as well as incubation of advanced cloud project delivery and cutting edge technologies. The team is dispersed across North America and supports the business by developing Softchoice's public cloud services offerings and standards of practice while delivering these offers to preview clients to validate the uses cases and solutions developed. The team supports the marketing and sales team in development of content, training and customer events. The team also drives skills enablement of the various services teams at Softchoice for Azure, GCP, AWS, Red Hat, DevOps tools and many cloud ISVs. Patrick works out of the Philadelphia (Malvern) PA office when he is not traveling across North America to one of Softchoice's many regional offices or in the Greater Toronto Metro area in Ontario Canada.

As manager of the Public Cloud Innovation team, Patrick has a team of 12 practice leaders, architects and engineers with various responsibilities. The three areas of focus are on services practice development, sales and pre-sales enablement and professional and managed services enablement. The Public Cloud Innovation team has focus on public cloud platforms Azure, GCP and AWS. The team is dispersed across North America and supports the business by developing Softchoice's public cloud services offerings and standards of practice. The team supports the marketing and sales team in development of content, training and customer events. The team also drives skills enablement of the various services teams at Softchoice for Azure, GCP, AWS and many cloud ISVs. His team consists of Azure, GCP and AWS practice leaders, DevOps and Data practice leaders, Cloud Architects and Practice development engineers, and a Product Manager and Portfolio Manager. Patrick works out of the Philadelphia (Malvern) PA office when he is not traveling across North America to one of Softchoice's many regional offices.

As Microsoft Practice Leader at Softchoice, Patrick manages a small team of North American focuses Sr Azure Solutions Architects and works with the Solutions and Services teams, Sales and Marketing Teams to position Softchoice offerings with customers, develop new solutions and help to define standards of practice delivery. Patrick works with the Director of Microsoft practice and national professional services leadership in setting direction of services related to current and emerging Hybrid IT and Public Cloud technologies with a direct focus on Softchoice's Azure Services offerings and strategy of delivery and sales support. Additionally he works to enable the sales and presales technical teams to consult and advise companies on those Microsoft technologies. Patrick also works with vendor partners to align on go to market strategies for enabling the use of those vendor technologies within the Microsoft Practice's focus. Patrick also collaborates with other practices within Softchoice, such as the Cisco, AWS, Hybrid IT and Data Center practices for development of cross practice solutions for Softchoice clients.

Patrick's role at Softchoice is to work with the sales team and Softchoice customers to design solutions to business problems, aligning IT and business needs. He works directly with customers in the commercial and government spaces to determine the requirements and technical considerations that must be addressed for a business need. He then works with a team of technically skilled Solutions Architects and Systems Engineers to design a solution based on IT technologies in a way that addresses customer's budgetary considerations.His primary geographical focus is the East coast of the US, with a primary responsibility in the States from South Carolina to Maine and all the major metropolitan areas, including where Softchoice offices are located in Washington DC, Philadelphia PA, New York City NY, Norwalk CT and Boston MA. In this role he is also tasked with leading customer discovery and white board sessions. Additionally he provides technical and sales training to sales representatives of Softchoice. He also participates in and leads presentations and Softchoice customer events and works closely with vendors and partners to align sales activities with Softchoice and the Softchoice customers.

Lead datacenter architect for presales selling of hosted data center solutions.

In addition to his role as a Systems Engineer, Patrick managed a team of Systems Analysts and Systems Engineers in the Microsoft infrastructure and collaboration space as well as the IBM Lotus collaboration technologies space.

As a systems engineer at DSS, Patrick was tasked with design and delivery of IT infrastructure and collaboration solutions. Focusing on Intel server systems with the Microsoft software stack, Patrick was in charge of deploying numerous large scale software and hardware integrated solutions.

Patrick's primary role was to manage a group of IT professionals tasked with the day to day operations of IT systems at Ancora. Additionally Patrick was responsible for managing contracts and vendor relationships with over 30 service providers. Patrick was also an adviser to the Director of IT for budgeting, long term planning and process improvement initiatives.

Manage and maintain an IT infrastructure that supported the day to day operations of Ancora Jetsort. Managed various members of an IT staff as well as worked with various service providers to maintain an IT environment for a 24x7 company.
