I promote and monitor funding and development programs to support investment in the creative future of the State of Western Australia. I assess and provide advice for requests for grants funding and promote investment and development policies and programs for arts, culture and creative industry development.

I liaised with vendors to ensure all contract deliverables, obligations and governance commitments were met in the supply and maintenance of hospital equipment at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

I managed all aspects of key promoter accounts and licensed events for the use of all copyright music across Western Australia. This involved actively sourcing events to be licensed and then implementing licence agreements, analysing ticketing statements, calculating licence fees, generating invoices and legal referrals and ensuring artist setlists/song lists and additional required documentation were processed accurately for the correct distribution of royalties. During my time as Account Manager I achieved high revenue/volume targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, I built strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and shared my industry knowledge by presenting lectures about licensing and music copyright, as well as attending music industry conferences.

I represented a range of promoters and liaised with artists and venues to manage event schedules, run times, guest lists, ticketing, catering, production requirements and any problems or issues that arose. I coordinated “meet and greet” opportunities with artists and organised airport, hotel, venue transfers for artists staff and crew. Working as Ticketing Manager, I liaised with promoters to determine individual ticketing requirements for each show at the venue. I created and administered each event within the internal ticketing system and developed and maintained content for the Show Ticketing and Astor Theatre websites. In addition, I produced sales reports and post show reconciliations for promoters and the Venue Manager at their request, coordinated the sale and delivery of tickets to patrons, problem solved issues as needed, managed casual staff, and was responsible for creating and publishing regular e-newsletter promotions for upcoming events.

This role involved providing box office sales and ticketing statements for staff and promoters. I also responded to customer enquiries, performed general office administration for the BOCS Ticketing team and undertook regular customer database maintenance for accurate delivery of tickets.

As Artist Liaison, I worked with Perth Festival team to stage 28 live music events over a 4-week festival period. I was responsible for airport and show-day transfers, hospitality riders, guestlists, merchandise and additional duties as they arose.I coordinated official festival hospitality by taking visiting artists out for meals, sightseeing and events.
