I have a passion and conviction for what I do, namely providing tailored and professional insurance solutions for individual clients and business in the areas of Term Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection, Business Expenses, Keyman and Succession Planning. In an industry that is so poorly advised, my fundamental belief is that having a robust methodology is imperative to drill down and clearly identify a client’s actual needs, rather than offering blanket solutions. We strongly believe in putting our clients first, and will not take on any clients who are not interested in building an ongoing relationship, as this is the only way of ensuring that their insurance strategy continues to work in their best interests, year in and year out.Before Foundation, I had the pleasure of running the Insurance & Mortgage Advice business at the Private Wealth arm of Macquarie Bank. I left Macquarie with a great deal of experience, and with the firm belief gained from personal experience that insurance advice needs to be practiced and delivered by specialists/experts, and not generalists. To this point, one of my often used analogies is “You wouldn’t go to a GP if you had a problem with your heart”. The nuances of getting the insurance advice right for clients, as well as cultivating an in-depth understanding of how the myriad of products available work, making sure claims get paid, means you have to live and breathe Insurance as a specialist discipline.With this firm belief, at Foundation Broking, we have designed a unique methodology that engages clients through a specific and ongoing process to identify their specific Insurance needs. This process generates an insurance plan tightly tailored to the client’s requirements. After all, no two situations are ever the same. Most importantly, it involves an ongoing relationship to ensure our clients Insurance plan evolves to meet their ever-changing life stages, circumstances and is in their best interests for that point in time.
