I am a graduate student from the Sport Management Program provided by Humber College. I am a very enthusiastic, creative, and determined individual who plans to make a positive impact in the scope of Basketball through both event planning, social media, content creation and event management within Northern America. My love for basketball stems from my childhood, as this was one of the main sports that taught me essential values such as teamwork, communication leadership, and the importance of networking with others. These key skills and abilities have helped me enormously in both my personal and professional life. I believe the skills that are taught through engagement in youth sports are very beneficial to those individuals as it both teaches and demonstrates the importance of building relationships. I have continuously engaged within Basketball in specifically whether it be through recreational play or through volunteer work to help aid others. My interests in event curation and project management enable me to establish strong sustainable events with a creative twist for all participants to enjoy. In addition to my previous and present experience in customer service-oriented roles, it allows me to engage and build client relations to help prevent and solve customer inquiries. I strive to both create a positive atmosphere and an atmosphere that allows for participants to both participate and grow from all levels youth to professional. I am a very determined and creative individual which has been demonstrated through both my extra-curricular projects and relevant coursework. I have specific skills within the scope such as time management, organization, scheduling, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friends and colleagues would consider me to be a leader, motivator, and efficient problem solver in both one on one settings and within larger groups. My overall objective within the industry is to establish and build events that bring communities together from youth to professional sports. I believe as residents of a municipality or of individuals who share the same interest, they should have the opportunity to give back to the community while being able to from relations. As of current, I am seeking opportunities that revolve around the scope of event planning and project management, gameday operations, and sports media. I would love for the opportunity to connect and grow with other individuals who share similar interests.
