I would define myself as a committed and passionate individual who has greater experience in assuming various roles and undertaking responsibilities.And professionally, a multimedia specialist with over half a decade of experience and expertise working for private and state-owned media institutions.Being a multimedia specialist with an academic background in Creative Multimedia Technology (BA, Hons) at Lincoln University College in Malaysia, I have professional experience and expertise in working as a Non-Linear Editor (NLE) for over eight years.I freelanced at the Lankapuvath Limited, a state-owned media institution that operates under the purview of the Ministry of Mass Media in Sri Lanka as the National News Agency, after which I was employed at Channel C and Vibe Television (VTV).The experience and expertise I gained working for private and state-owned media institutions proved to be a unique source of knowledge in the system.In both academic and work settings, I earned a reputation as a dedicated professional with a passion for performing various roles and responsibilities in digital, post-production and programmedivisions since 2015.I was responsible for the conception and production of visual solutions for the broadcast. This includes, but is not limited to, assembling rushes into a finished project that matches the producer’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
