CurrentDirect people operations across the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility including training management, workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget oversight while leading a team of 28, supporting 4.7K members across 52 countries and 5 domestic bases. Workforce Planning:- Manage department operations including project scoping, crisis planning, program development and management, and performance metric tracking, Exercise Planning, Career Development, Religious Ministries, and Succession Planning teams.- Build new staffing models to support a large-scale Marine Corps restructure by assessing people needs, defining role and job requirements, developing budgets, and creating an execution plan, identifying 250+ data-informed requirements. - Optimize staffing allocations reducing placement gaps by over 30% in 18 months. - Created a retention strategy for the religious program specialist occupation by understanding pain points and advocating incentives while supporting 750+ personnel and securing first historical service bonus, increasing department retention by 50%. Training & Development:- Develop strategic training and development plans for technical and tactical trainings gaining leadership approval and securing $250K in funding. - Drive ongoing training improvements to address learning gaps and requirements minimizing competency gaps across 5 programs.- Perform a comprehensive readiness evaluation increasing area-wide combat and warfighter readiness and resiliency by 50% (up to 95%). Operations Management:- Orchestrate and coordinate logistics including team travel, budget development, expense management, and workforce planning, securing 100% funding approval each year. - Led an empowered team through individualized coaching, performance management, expectation setting, ongoing recognition, collaborative problem solving, and accessible communication, ensuring alignment with individual and organizational goals.
