• CB Combination Boiler: Served as lead test engineer and reported directly to Vice President of Engineering during design and manufacturing of the CB “Combi” Boiler, Noritz’s first tankless unit that could provide both heat and domestic hot water in a residential application. Conducted sales research to determine market demand for sizing and features. Conducted prototype testing of all characteristics of the boiler including temperature response performance, combustion analysis, circulation pump operation logic, and verifying proper safety mechanism and error code operation. • NRCP Tankless Water Heater: Served as lead test engineer during design and manufacturing of the NRCP tankless water heater, Noritz’s first tankless unit with an internal recirculation pump. Advanced an overhauled design with a negative pressure gas valve and premix combustion that maintains extremely consistent air-fuel ratio and CO/NOx emission levels even if gas pressures are insufficient or air flow is heavily restricted. Performed similar prototype testing to the CB Boiler for this model as well• Served as on-site engineer providing support for installation sites ranging from small houses to large commercial applications (banks of 12-20 units working together, linked to a central system controller) • Provided senior technical support by phone for a similar range of applications• Conducted in-house repairs and testing of malfunctioning units. Such repairs entailed complete disassembly and reassembly of units’ combustion routes and water lines, rewiring electrical harnesses, using a multimeter to verify proper operation of electrical components (circuit boards, GFCIs, igniters, temperature sensors, etc.), calibrating gas manifold pressures for proper operation of gas solenoid valves, verifying proper operation of water servo valves, and interpreting error codes and maintenance monitors to extrapolate information on the units’ history

Hackensack, Nj

Acted as on-site Project Engineer, managing the daily operation of the construction site during excavation and transportation of contaminated soil for off-site disposal as well as site restoration with clean fill. Excavation was executed to bedrock at depths of 50 feet and required shoring and bracing to be installed in order to prevent collapse. Other responsibilities include decommissioning gas holders, dewatering and groundwater treatment, installation of caps, and odor suppression.
