We are a patient advocate - we assist individuals with their medical bills to be sure that the insurance companies pay all claims correctly. We also verify with the providers that the payments/adjustments have been posted correctly before we send the bills to our patient's to pay.We also work for providers. We work accounts that are 90 - 120 days old to get the insurance companies to pay the claims correctly. We resubmit corrected claims to carriers and follow-up for accurate payments. While we work on the outstanding claims, we also clean up their systems and write off claims that have passed the filing time limits.We consult with individual/groups to help them to decide which insurance carrier or policy best meets their needs. We DO NOT sell insurance, we just give them individual attention to their insurance needs - not on what will win us a trip!Pat has almost 40 years of experience in the insurance field and has a real passion what what she does.Pat has been featured in Wall Street Journal - Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine, North Carolina Business Magazine, Money Magazine, Women's Day and of course the local newspapers.Specialties: I am the only Certified Claims Assistant Professional in the state of North Carolina and was the 84th in the USA.
