Patricia O’Malley is a graduate of Quinnipiac University with a Master of Arts in Teaching. She is currently an elementary teacher in Fairfax County, VA. She has been in urban public, urban charter, and suburban public schools for seven years including as a classroom teacher for four years. Patricia tracks student assessment data to carefully create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students. She worked closely to align common core standards to state curriculums in Connecticut, North Carolina, and Virginia. Patricia has been an active leader, mentor, and colleague collaborating closely with peers to construct the best learning environments possible, while implementing best and next practices. She has been trained in Responsive Classroom and Capturing Kids Hearts as well as executed models from Guided Math, Daily 5, and Teach Like a Champion.
