I am blessed and privileged to teach what I love. I love graphic design as well as computer applications and coding so being able to teach students and share my love of what I do is wonderful. My love of teaching is seen in the classroom and carries over into the lives of my students. Each year when seniors graduate and I see them heading off to college to major in graphic design or computer technology, I know I had a small part in that decision and I pray they will mimic their teacher and become a lifelong learner. Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." This is what we as teachers do. We have the power to positively shape and change lives to prepare them for their future. What a responsibility…what a privilege! Needless to say, I'm a little passionate.
