Trish McGee combines journalism ethics with business sustainability. She's passionate about making the world a better place. A recent graduate of American University, Trish studied Journalism and Sustainability. She attends Georgetown University to earn her Master's in Environment and Sustainability Management. She's a SCUBA diver and a coral reef conservationist. She owns and operates Mend a Hand: Built with (Re)Purpose, a textile workshop and future bulk hardware store. Formerly, she worked as the communications specialist at Just Ice Tea, a sustainable snack company grown on Honest Tea.Her earlier work includes positions such as managing editor of life for The American University Eagle and interning at international non-profits Migrateful Cookery School and Days for Girls.
