CurrentLygature is a not-for-profit organization based in the Netherlands. We stimulate the development of new medical solutions for patients by managing public-private partnerships involving academia, industry and society. My main activities at Lygature are:Establishing the NGF funded project Oncode Accelerator and the related review and selection processes for Demonstrator (validation) projects. Oncode Accelerator aims to innovate and accelerate the preclinical development of new cancer therapies, by introducing new platforms and technologies into the existing development pipelines. Preclinical development projects will be selected and executed to validate the new approaches.More information: www.oncodeaccelerator.nlProgram manager and review & selection process coordinator for the European Lead Factory; a novel open-innovation platform for drug discovery with a portfolio of 322 screening projects in 11 years, managed by an international consortium of 30 partners and funded under the European Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI). Establishing a dedicated review and selection process for new programs within the GNA NOW project; an European (IMI JU funded) collaboration progressing Gram-Negative antibiotics from lead optimization up to completion of Phase I trials. Parelsnoer Institute was a large project of the NFU, in which the University Medical Centres of the Netherlands unite to establish uniform country-wide clinical biobanks for high-quality scientific research.
