As a Research Coordinator at the Emirates Nature-WWF, I was responsible for the training and supervision of volunteers in the collection of field and lab data. In Dubai aquarium, with 11 millions liters of water and more than 30 exhibits of freshwater and sea water, I was responsible for invertebrates with more than 30 different species of corals and 3 species of jellyfish, water quality, feeding, diving and general duties to maintain animals in captivity with excellent standard procedures. I worked as a Camp Team Leader for the Project “Evaluation of the nesting activity of the Green Sea Turtle (Chelonya mydas) on the beaches of The Galapagos Island, Ecuador”.This experience gave me the opportunity to work closely with a team of researchers, helping me to understand the importance of monitoring nesting females for the conservation of sea.
