Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager (December 2014 - August 2015)Supervise a team of 5 people for collections and payables under the AR/AP division of the Mobility Division. Focused on increasing efficiencies in Payable & Receivables through improved tracking & process management.Analyzing current & creating new processes to increase automation & decrease human errorManage & maintain vendor/agent relationships while monitoring payables & collectionsCollaborate with all departments to implement improvements and support new policiesUpdate social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn. Running data extracts, processing for accuracy and presenting for review.Support the Senior VP of Mobility Services with marketing and brand related tasks.Forwarding Coordinator (June 2012 - January 2013)Coordinate pier hauling, primary focus on Baltimore/New York portsReview all ocean/inland freight invoices and all trucking and per diem invoicesSupport Forwarding Manager with properly rating, routing and booking ocean freight Assist Forwarding Manager in maintaining relationships with NVOCC’s, steamship lines and track industry changes from a logistical and regulatory perspective.Manage AES filing with US Customs to ensure cargo is not held back by carriers and all documentation meets US Government and carrier’s requirementsResponsible for all Forwarding Manager Duties in their absence
