Responsible for testing a diverse set of PeopleFluent's products, including Socialtext, Dashboards and PeopleFluent Recruiting. Development work for each product used either SCRUM or Kanban Agile methodologies. Analyzed requirements, then developed, documented and executed manual test cases for each product. Used Jira, Rally or qTest for test case management. For the Dashboard's product wrote 1000 automated UI and API test cases using Selenium WebDriver, C# and Visual Studio. Executed test cases across all supported browsers. Used BrowserStack for responsive interface testing on both Android and iOS mobile platforms. Created SQL or MongoDB queries to both test database scripts and to debug issues. Wrote detailed Bug Reports and was always available to work with a developer to further investigate an issue or to assess a proposed fix. Routinely collaborated with support to troubleshoot customer issues and with our UX design team to refine the user interface for a number of new features. Consistently strove to produce high quality production releases and to improve our release process.

Performed manual and automated regression testing of the KANA Service Experience Management (SEM) platform. Development and testing was done in 3 week sprints using Agile/SCRUM methodologies. As the designated Quality Owner for several different SCRUM teams, participated in daily stand-ups, sprint and release planning meetings and retrospectives. Managed user stories and testing tasks using Rally. Responsible for cross-browser regression testing of a new version of the SEM that had been re-architected to improve performance. Conducted product installations using shell scripts within a Linux-based virtual machine environment. Automated regression tests using a combination of the Selenium IDE and a custom framework built on Selenium WebDriver. Automated test scripts were written and run from the Eclipse IDE. Used Perforce for revision control of automated test scripts and database artifacts. Performed product demonstration for the CTO as part of sprint exit review meetings. Routinely responded to unexpected changes in project workflow, as well as shifting priorities and schedules.

Following Sunquest's acquisition of the PowerPath product line, trained members of an off-shore testing team on five different PowerPath applications and provided remote assistance enabling team members to configure their existing equipment for PowerPath testing.

Member of a 2-person team responsible for testing all application components of the PowerPath product suite, a client-server laboratory information management system for anatomic pathology. Sole tester assigned to the Advanced Materials Processing (AMP) product, a multi-station application which enables end-to-end barcode tracking of a specimen through the pathology workflow. Focused primarily on exploratory and black-box testing of new product features, regression testing of related areas and defect analysis. Verified that all functionality under test was both free of defects and designed to meet client needs. Used Elekta Quality System procedures to create test related documents and traceability matrices. Installed and configured all third party software and hardware, including touch screen monitors, barcode scanners, document scanners, label printers and fax modem boards needed to support test execution. Designed, implemented and maintained a multi-workstation test lab using Symantec Ghost Server images and VMware Workstation virtual machines where all PowerPath applications under test could be installed on a clean, baseline version of the test platform. Built SQL queries for data validation testing. Executed test cases and completed all required test and regulatory documents on time to meet aggressive deadlines for product releases.
