Freight Associate (Operations)
Current• Demonstrate strong intercultural communication, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills in complex situations. • Marks stock items using identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities • Collects all documentation for outbound freight and ensures all documents including receiving paperwork are filed appropriately• Overnight stocking merchandise and organizing the sales floor to create a pleasant and safe shopping environment. • Provide fast, friendly service to customers by answering questions and helping with home improvement plans• Able to pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted and my role requires me to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time• Stocks merchandise onto shelves for customer availability; requires sorting and staging of merchandise to sales floor• Responsible for identifying and reading vendor packing slips, carrier shipping documents, UPC labels and other receiving documents and comparing to purchase orders to ensure accuracy
